International Act & Album Of The Year For Clancy's Tavern

Toby Keith's latest single is cruising up the charts and fans are anxiously awaiting his new album Hope On The Rocks, but the accolades just won't stop. The British Country Music Awards named Keith the International Act of the Year and bestowed International Album of the Year honors on his current album Clancy's Tavern earlier this month.

In what could be considered the lull before a promotional storm of media appearances in advance of Hope's Nov. 13 release, things are anything but quiet. The UK's only event of its kind, the sold-out BCM Awards at Heathrow's Concorde Club "honour those that have given to the cause of British Country Music." Keith accepted his awards via video.

The recognition follows Toby's wildly successful European tour late last year, and is fitting punctuation to the long run of acclaim, as well as airplay and sales milestones, achieved by Clancy's Tavern. Smash hits "Made In America" and "Beers Ago," along with the explosive popularity of country music's biggest-ever viral sensation "Red Solo Cup" powered the album, which bowed at No. 1 across all-genres in the U.S.

Now the focus turns to Hope On The Rocks and its fast-rising lead single "I Like Girls That Drink Beer." As the principle songwriter, performer and producer, Keith promises to add another weighty chapter in a musical career that has rolled unabated since his debut single "Should've Been A Cowboy." His unchecked succession of self-penned and top-charting albums and singles is a monument of consistency unrivaled in popular music.
